Over the last few years, we have also learned that it is dangerous when God's calling becomes the heartbeat of our lives. If we only walk with God as long as we have an active, "visible" assignment, sooner or later we will have a problem. What happens when the assignment falls away? Or what do we do when challenges arise in life, family, job or ministry? If we are only on fire for God because we are doing a service for HIM, we have missed the real and important point. Service for HIM does not determine our worth. Our goal in life is to live with Christ, no matter how visible or invisible our life is to others. Christ is enough!

The heartbeat of a vision comes from your and my personal and intimate relationship with God. Vocation is not something we achieve, it is rather a part of who we are.  The more we are rooted in our new creation identity as an adopted child of God, the better we will hear, obey and follow God more than we can ever imagine.

 

On October 19, 2023, the calling for our life as a family was confirmed. It is based on a vision that will extend over three stages in our lives. We are currently only sharing the first stage with you. The first stage is about how we will serve as pastors. The exact details are not yet known to us. These will become clear over time through God's Spirit. If it is the Lords will, we will live and start this in one of the countries of Europe.​​​​​​
