Dear Betty and Johann

I want to share a testimony with you from this week:

Johann, you once asked me why I kept letting myself get hurt. I was a bit overwhelmed with that because I didn't know how to protect my heart. And God healed my heart again and again and spoke his truth into it. Listening to a teaching sermon by Derek Prince this week, I finally understood what the breastplate of righteousness is for my heart.

I knew that Jesus is my righteousness and I am forgiven of any transgression/sin. (Past, present and future) The accuser (Satan) can bring up whatever he wants, the blood of Jesus has washed everything clean! I knew that if I am attacked, slandered or rejected that Jesus will justify me and plead my case. (sooner or later in the visible, immediately in the invisible) I knew that if I am robbed of something material, I do not have to reclaim it, but God will reimburse me for everything.

But what kept giving me trouble were invisible stealings: for example, being tied back in my calling, or being cut off in relationships, or just this week that Stefan didn't take time for me when I strongly asked him to. (Our unity was no longer there).

That which protects my heart is a armor! The armor of justice. You God, see all this. Your righteousness is between what could cause me trouble and my heart. It is my protection. I can put it in between. I have some training to do on that.......

"Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you."
